  MONTHLY MEETINGS: The Cristoforo Colombo Lodge holds its monthly meetings usually on the third Sunday of each month (except in August,there is no meeting that month!)at 4pm at St. Joseph’s Church, located on West of the Ashley. The address is: 1695 Raoul Wallenberg Blvd. Charleston, SC 29407. (The exception would be for recurring Holidays like Mother's Day, Father's Day or Easter being on that 3 Sunday! )  In that case we usually move the date to the Sunday  after.

  DINNER BLAST IN MAY: Another dinner is on the way led by our great chef Chuck Gainey.  This event is in the beginning stage so we have no details yet.  Chuck recommended we donated the profits to the Church to show our appreciation for the use of the hall all these many years.  We will bring it up at the upcoming meeting for discussion and we will take it from there.

 THE END OF AN ERA: Frank DiFiglio, one of the Lodge's longest serving Officer is going to resign his position at the end of his present term.  Frank has been our Treasure for 7 years.  Under his leadership the Lodge's treasury has continued to grow.  We now have funds invested in CD and our on hand working capital has never been higher.  Maybe he should take a trip to Washington; they could sure use a dose of his financial discipline.  Frank has been a loyal and dedicated member of our Lodge and has served us well.  We are deeply indebted to him for his superior stewardship of our funds.  We all owe him a great debt of gratitude for his years of service.  Frank, from all of us in the Lodge thank you very much for a job well done!
